1. What does yoga mean?
Yoga is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning to join. Yoga is state of being in which the body and the mind are joined with the spirit in steadiness and stillness. The physical practice of yoga prepares the body and the mind to live in a balanced, harmonious state.

2. What should I expect from my first visit?
You'll be warmly welcomed upon entering our space. After signing-in we'll show you around. Once you are ready to go your teacher will set you up in the studio. Please let your teacher know if you have any injuries or health conditions.

3. What should I bring?
You'll need water, a towel and a good quality sticky yoga mat.

4. Do I need my own mat?
Yoga mats are a personal item. We suggest that you purchase a good quality sticky yoga mat. We sell Jade Yoga and Lululemon Yoga mats.

5. Why is the studio heated?
We keep our studio in the mid-80's in order to warm up, access and stretch muscle fibers. At this toasty temperature you will break into a cleansing and healing sweat and will feel completely refreshed at the end of practice.

6. How often should I practice?
Consistency is key when it comes to creating physical wellness, mental clarity and spiritual insight. Practice consistently 2-3 times per week and you will reap many of the benefits that this discipline has to offer. Practice consistently 4-6 times per week and you will ignite deep-rooted personal transformation.
